Arsenal injury update – 3 OUT & 3 doubts plus next 5 game predictions
Other injured Gunners who should return sooner
Christian Norgaard
Christian Norgaard missed out on a string of games at the start of the season, but is now nearing a return to full fitness.
While his place in the XI is certainly not guaranteed against Nottingham Forest, there is a strong chance that the Danish international will be available for selection.
Ben White
Like Norgaard, Ben White has also missed out on multiple games so far this season, but could be fit to play after the international break.
He was forced off the pitch during Arsenal’s opening day game against Manchester United and has not played since.
However, in surprising news given his self-imposed exile from the England set-up, White has apparently indicated he would like to be considered for national duty under Thomas Tuchel which has to be a positive.
William Saliba
The lastest addition to Arsenal’s injury woes is talismanic defender William Saliba, who was forced off with a knock during the 1-0 defeat against Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
Saliba reportedly twisted his ankle before the game and exacerbated his injury by attempting to play on it. The full severity of the injury is not yet known – he may be fit in time to play against Nottingham Forest as it not viewed as a long-term issue.
