Chelsea, Liverpool & Man City ready for transfer war to sign Michael Olise

Bayern Munich’s winger, Michael Olise, is a highly sought-after man in Europe. Several suitors are reportedly ready to splash as much as €100 million to secure the services of the French star.

According to a report published by Goal.com, Premier League clubs are sniffing around Michael Olise. Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City are among the Premier League teams who are keeping tabs on the 23-year-old winger.

Bayern Munich are proactive about the situation and have already started working to tie down Michael Olise at the Allianz Arena to a new deal. The winger has become an integral player under Vincent Kompany. The Bavarian giants will not let their star man leave easily.

Possible destinations for Olise next summer

In addition to the Premier League teams, cash-rich Paris Saint-Germain are also keen on reinforcing their squad with the quality of a player like Olise. Luis Enrique would want to prove his mettle on the European stage again, and Olise will only add to the star-studded lineup at the Parc des Princes.

Liverpool went all guns blazing in the summer to defend the Premier League title. A separate report published by the German publication Bild affirms that talks are already underway between the club and Olise. The Bavarian giants do not want to run the risk of losing their star man to European rivals. Olise’s current deal at the Allianz Arena runs until 2029, and Bayern Munich are keen to extend it until 2031.

The new contract will also be lucrative for Olise, who will now command a higher salary from his employers. The attacking midfielder currently earns  £10 million a season, half of the figure earned by Harry Kane.

The club have been extremely vocal about their admiration for the England-born French footballer. Sporting director, Max Eberl, has been quoted as saying –

“Michael has already made a big impression in his first season. He’s the kind of player who draws fans to the stadium; it’s just fun to watch him play football

He still has over three and a half years left on his contract, will become an increasingly decisive factor in FC Bayern’s play and shape the future of this team – as far as we’re concerned, the longer the better.”
