LB: Merchas Doski

Viktoria Plzen are the only team to remain unbeaten throughout the Europa League league phase – the defensive efforts of Merchas Doski have paid dividends towards this.

The Iraqi international helped his team keep a clean sheet on the road at FC Basel and also notched up an assist along the way.

CM: Daan Heymans

Daan Heymans was the driving force behind Genk’s win over Malmo FF – they were unlucky to miss out on automatic qualification.

Heymans was directly involved in both of Genk’s goals, scoring a penalty and registering an assist for their second.

CM: Arne Engels

The second Celtic player to make our XI – Auston Trusty provided Celtic with defensive solidity, while Arne Engels gave them some attacking inspiration.

He scored the Celts’ third goal of the game, slotting a penalty into the back of the net, then found the assist for their final goal.
