Fantasy Premier League: FPL Winners & Losers

Another week of Fantasy Premier League is behind us. We saw some massive wins for Arsenal, Manchester City and West Ham United at the weekend – how did your FPL team perform in the most recent gameweek?

There are just 13 gameweeks remaining in the 2025/26 Premier League season – are you top of the league, or are you propping up the rest of the pack?

Goalkeepers

Four Premier League goalkeepers managed to keep clean sheets this weekend – out of the quartet, Mads Hermansen netted the highest FPL points total.

The West Ham United shot-stopper made five saves as the Hammers picked up a crucial away win against Burnley – the other three who kept clean sheets were Dean Henderson, Senne Lammens and David Raya.

Fulham ‘keeper Bernd Leno had a weekend to forget, however. Not only did the Cottagers lose in their game against Everton, the former German international scored an own goal to seal their fate.

Defenders

Diogo Dalot was this weekend’s star defender. Manchester United didn’t face much resistance from Tottenham at the weekend, which allowed him to thrive from an attacking and defensive standpoint. All in all, he scored 12 points.

Maxence Lacroix also put forth a fantastic defensive shift against BrightonCrystal Palace’s bitter rivals were dealt a major blow as the Eagles won and kept a clean sheet against them at the Amex Stadium.

Cristian Romero, on the other hand, will want to put this weekend behind him in a hurry. He was sent off in the first half for a dangerous challenge, landing him a points total of -3. There was contention surrounding the decision to dismiss Romero, but nonetheless, the red card stood.

Midfielders

Cole Palmer was on fire this week – the Chelsea ace scored a first-half hattrick against Wolves, giving him an enormous points total of 20.

No-one came even remotely close to this over the course of gameweek 25, though Everton’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall made a solid attempt – his goal against Fulham gave him a very healthy total of 13 points.

There weren’t any particularly poor performers in midfield this week, but we chose to single out Antoine Semenyo. He is one of the most-selected players in the game, but could only conjure up two points for his display against Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.

Forwards

It has been a while since Viktor Gyokeres has been our star striker of the week – nevertheless, he can lay claim to the prize in gameweek 25 after he scored a brace against Sunderland on Saturday afternoon.

Erling Haaland is back in our good books again, too. Despite being practically anonymous for most of the game against Liverpool, he popped up late on to notch up an assist and score the winning goal of the game.

Unfortunately, this was another poor week for Nick Woltemade. Not only did Newcastle fall to defeat, he also failed to score or register an assist. He has not found the back of the net in the Premier League since December 20 – if you still have him in your team, it’s probably time to identify a replacement.
