Zeki Amdouni

Mohamed Zeki Amdouni, born on 4 December 2000, is a rising star in Swiss football, known for his versatility as an attacking midfielder and forward. Currently plying his trade with Burnley in the Premier League, Amdouni has quickly made a name for himself with his dynamic playing style and impressive goal-scoring ability. With a professional debut at just 17 years old, he has demonstrated a maturity and skill set that belies his age, making him a player to watch in the coming years.

Amdouni’s football journey began in the youth ranks of Servette, Meyrin, and Étoile Carouge, where he honed his craft before making his senior debut with Étoile Carouge in the 1. Liga, the fourth tier of Swiss football. In 2019, he transitioned to Stade Lausanne Ouchy, where he further developed his skills. His breakthrough came in July 2021 when he signed with Lausanne-Sport in the Swiss Super League. Despite the team's relegation at the end of the 2021–22 season, Amdouni shone brightly, finishing as the club's top scorer with 12 goals, showcasing his potential as a leading forward.

The summer of 2022 marked a significant step in Amdouni’s career as he joined Basel on a two-year loan deal with an option for permanent transfer.
