Daniel Muñoz

Daniel Muñoz Mejía, known simply as D. Muñoz, has emerged as a formidable presence in the world of football, showcasing his talents as a right-back or right wing-back for Crystal Palace and the Colombian national team. Born on 26 May 1996 in Colombia, Muñoz's journey to professional football is a testament to his dedication and skill, making his senior debut at the age of 20 with Águilas Doradas in 2017.

Following two seasons with Águilas Doradas, where he honed his defensive capabilities, Muñoz joined Atlético Nacional in 2019. His time there was relatively brief, but it paved the way for a significant move to Europe. In May 2020, he completed a transfer to Belgian side Genk for a fee of €4.5 million.
