Loum Tchaouna

Loum Tchaouna, born on 8 September 2003 in N'Djamena, Chad, is a forward who has quickly made a name for himself in European football. Currently plying his trade at Premier League club Burnley, Tchaouna showcases not only his talent but also his determination and resilience as he continues to climb the ranks of professional football.

Tchaouna's journey began in France, where he joined the youth setup at Rennes in 2014 after stints with FC Kronenbourg, Schiltigheim, and Strasbourg. His development at Rennes was marked by a steady rise through the ranks, culminating in his professional debut on 26 September 2021 in a Ligue 1 match against Bordeaux, shortly after his 18th birthday. During his time at Rennes, he made 14 appearances across all competitions, primarily coming off the bench as he sought to make an impact in the top tier of French football.

In pursuit of more playing time, Tchaouna was loaned to Dijon FCO for the 2022-2023 season. This move proved pivotal, as he enjoyed a more prominent role with the team, starting 20 matches and scoring his first senior goal against Nîmes Olympique in May 2023. Despite his contributions, Dijon faced relegation, finishing the season in 18th place. Tchaouna's performances did not go unnoticed, and on 31 August 2023, he made a significant transfer to Salernitana, where he continued to develop, making 35 appearances and netting six goals in the 2023-2024 season.

In 2024, Tchaouna took another step forward in his career by joining Lazio, where he has continued to refine his skills on the pitch. As a forward, he is known for his pace and ability to create scoring opportunities, making him a valuable asset to his teams.
