Antoine Semenyo

Antoine Serlom Semenyo, born on 7 January 2000, is a dynamic forward whose journey from the trials of rejection to the heights of professional football is a testament to his resilience and determination. Although his early attempts to secure a place at top clubs such as Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur were unsuccessful, Semenyo’s talent was undeniable, leading him to sign with Bristol City in 2017.

Semenyo made his professional debut for Bristol City in the final match of the 2017–18 season, coming on as a substitute against Sheffield United. His first significant playing time came during a loan spell at Bath City, where he showcased his scoring ability by netting six goals in 16 appearances. This spell proved crucial in building his confidence and gaining valuable experience in competitive football.

Following his time at Bath City, Semenyo embarked on further loan spells, first at Newport County and then Sunderland. At Newport, he made a notable impact, scoring in the EFL Cup and gaining vital experience, though his time at Sunderland was less fruitful in terms of goals.
