Borna Sosa

Borna Sosa, a dynamic left-back known for his attacking prowess and defensive reliability, has steadily made a name for himself in European football. Born on 21 January 1998 in Zagreb, Croatia, Sosa's journey began in the youth ranks of Dinamo Zagreb, where he would later make his professional debut at just 17 years of age. This early breakthrough marked the start of a promising career, characterised by his determination and skill on the ball.

During his time at Dinamo Zagreb from 2015 to 2018, Sosa showcased his potential by making 41 appearances and contributing six assists. His significant moment came on 10 May 2016, when he played a crucial role in securing the Croatian Cup title against Slaven Belupo. This victory not only highlighted his capabilities but also set the stage for his move to the Bundesliga, where he signed a five-year deal with VfB Stuttgart in May 2018.

At Stuttgart, Sosa faced challenges, particularly with injuries that hindered his game time during his initial seasons. Despite this, he managed to make 45 appearances and netted 12 goals, demonstrating his ability to contribute offensively from the back.
