Raúl Jiménez

Raúl Alonso Jiménez Rodríguez, known simply as R. Jiménez, has established himself as one of Mexico's most prolific strikers in modern football. Born on 5 May 1991, this talented forward began his professional journey with Club América, where he made his debut in October 2011. Over the next three years, Jiménez showcased his potential, contributing two goals in 18 appearances and helping his team secure the prestigious Clausura title in 2013.

In August 2014, Jiménez made a significant leap in his career by joining Atlético Madrid. Although his time in Spain was brief, it paved the way for a move to Benfica in 2015. During his three-year stint with the Portuguese giants, he became a key player, making 120 appearances and netting 31 goals, earning back-to-back Primeira Liga titles in 2016 and 2017. Following his success in Portugal, Jiménez transferred to Wolverhampton Wanderers in June 2018 on loan.
