Lucas Pires

Lucas Pires Silva, born on 24 March 2001 in Jabaquara, São Paulo, is a promising Brazilian left-back currently making his mark at Premier League side Burnley. Lucas began his football journey at the tender age of six, starting with the futsal team of Nacional-SP before moving to Santos' futsal squad at eight. His real breakthrough came when he joined Corinthians' youth academy, where he honed his skills over 13 years. In July 2017, he signed his first professional contract with Corinthians. Despite impressing in various youth teams, he was unable to secure a spot in the first team and ultimately parted ways with the club in July 2021.

Shortly after his departure from Corinthians, Lucas Pires signed a three-year deal with Santos.
