Gabriel Pawel "Gaga" Słonina, born on May 15, 2004, has quickly established himself as one of the most promising young goalkeepers in football. Hailing from Addison, Illinois, Słonina's journey began in the youth academy of Major League Soccer club Chicago Fire, where he honed his skills before making a significant mark in professional football.

In March 2019, at just 14 years old, Słonina signed a professional homegrown player contract with Chicago Fire, becoming the youngest signing in the club's history. His rise to prominence came on August 4, 2021, when he made his debut against New York City FC, setting a record as the youngest starting goalkeeper in MLS history at the age of 17 years and 81 days.
