Kenny Tete

Kenny Joelle Tete, born on 9 October 1995 in Amsterdam, is a Dutch professional footballer known for his tenacity and skill as a right-back. Currently representing Fulham in the Premier League, Tete has made a significant impact on the pitch, showcasing his defensive prowess and ability to contribute to his team's attacking plays.

Tete's football journey began at a young age when he joined the Ajax Academy at just 10 years old. His early years in the academy were marked by success, including a crucial role in clinching the B-Juniors Eredivisie title with the Ajax B1 team during the 2011–12 season. Tete signed his first professional contract with Ajax in July 2012, paving the way for his debut in the Eerste Divisie with Jong Ajax in August 2013. Over the next few years, he steadily progressed through the ranks, receiving his first call-up to the first team and making his professional debut in a pre-season friendly in 2013.

After five years at Ajax, during which he made 55 appearances and became a part of a squad that reached the Europa League final in 2017, Tete made the switch to Lyon in Ligue 1. During his time in France from 2017 to 2020, he made 82 appearances and scored once, further refining his skills in a competitive league. His performances in Lyon solidified his reputation as a reliable defender capable of handling high-pressure situations.

In 2020, Tete joined Fulham, where he has continued to demonstrate his commitment and quality on the field. He has already contributed to the team with a goal and remains an integral part of Fulham's defensive setup.
