Premier League Team of the Week XI

Another Premier League gameweek has concluded – league leaders Arsenal got back to winning ways, but who made it into our team of the week?

A couple of Gunners made the grade, alongside Manchester United, Manchester City and Brighton players – but who are they?

GK: Senne Lammens

Senne Lammens didn’t have an enormous amount of work to do when Manchester United travelled to Everton, but he pulled off the save of the weekend when he kept out an audacious effort from Michael Keane.

The 23-year-old isn’t the finished product by any means, but he has shown incredibly promising signs during his at United so far.

RB: Diogo Dalot

Diogo Dalot did everything you could ask for in a full-back against Everton. He put forth some diligent defensive work, provided a threat down the right flank and never stopped running.

Dalot was unlucky to not score in the first half with a wicked dipping effort, then was additionally unfortunate to not get an assist when Benjamin Sesko spurned a golden opportunity later on. A good outing for the Portuguese international, but it could’ve been so much more with a bit of luck.

CB: James Hill

James Hill continues to impress at the heart of Bournemouth’s defence. This time, he played a vital role in securing a clean sheet away at West Ham.

The Hammers have been in good form as of late, especially in front of goial, but Hill was on hand to snuff out any foray into the box from Nuno Espirito Santo’s men.

CB: Jan Paul van Hecke

Brighton have been on a torrid run as of late, but Jan Paul van Hecke stepped up to help his team secure three vital points away at Brentford.

He made plenty of clearances as the Bees continually lofted the ball into the box – this was a mature display from the 25-year-old.
