Premier League Team of the Week XI

The Premier League season is now beyond the midpoint – we are swiftly approaching the endgame of the 2025/26 campaign.

Who were the best performers from this week? We saw some excellent displays from Chelsea, Everton and Manchester United, but did any of them make it into our team of the week XI?

GK: Jordan Pickford

Jordan Pickford has been in fine form this season – there shouldn’t be any doubt surrounding his number one status for England in the summer.

The Everton shot-stopper had plenty of work to do against Aston Villa, but he was equal to everything the Villans could throw at him.

RB: Nordi Mukiele

Nordi Mukiele is proving to be one of the most underrated signings of the season. Whether playing at right-back or centre-back, he can always be relied on to perform above par.

He provided the assist for Sunderland’s first goal against Crystal Palace as the Black Cats picked up another big win at the Stadium of Light.

CB: Yerson Mosquera

Eyebrows were raised upon Rob Edwards’ appointment at Wolves, but he has certainly inspired change within the dressing room – at least from a mental standpoint.

Yerson Mosquera exemplified this renewed belief, putting in plenty of brave challenges and making swashbuckling runs through the middle

CB: Tosin Adarabioyo

Tosin Adarabioyo has no shortage of critics, but none of them could pick a fault with his display against Brentford.

Chelsea faced a tough task against an in-form Brentford side, but Adarabioyo was on hand to deal with any attacking play that the Bees could formulate.
