Supercomputer PREDICTS 2026/27 Premier League Table

We aren’t far away from the start of the 2026/27 Premier League season. As teams begin finalising their preparations, who will finish where in the league table?

Of course, we’re only human. Why not let a supercomputer take the reins? That’s what we did today, using predictions from Compare.bet.

Who will finish top of the table this time around? Who will finish in the bottom three? Let’s take a look – some placements may surprise you!

20. Hull City

While we just said that some results might shock you, this one shouldn’t. Promoted via the Championship playoffs with a relatively lacklustre squad, Hull City also haven’t spent much since their ascension. Never say never, but this looks pretty nailed on.

19. Coventry City

Frank Lampard’s Coventry City were sensational last season, winning the Championship league title with a flourish, but the Premier League is a whole different kettle of fish. If the goals dry up, they’ll be in trouble.

18. Ipswich Town

Sadly, all three promoted teams have been slated for relegation by the supercomputer. With Kieran McKenna having left his post at Ipswich Town, replaced by Gary O’Neil, the Tractor Boys are now in a period of transition. They’ll struggle to find their footing, which could cost them dearly.

17. Sunderland

Sunderland and Regis le Bris were fantastic last season, finishing sixth in the league table, but second season syndrome could well be on the horizon. We think they’ll finish a little higher than this, but it’s unlikely that they’ll be able to replicate such a successful campaign.

16. Nottingham Forest

The Premier League’s biggest basket case, it is always hard to predict where Nottingham Forest might finish. This seems fair – for all his vast swathes of money, Evangelos Marinakis’ unfiltered shenanigans will always hold the Trees back.

15. Leeds United

Leeds United are having an excellent summer transfer window, but the supercomputer is nonetheless predicting a modest finish for them. We disagree with this, to be honest. Leeds will likely look like a much-improved outfit next season, especially so with such signings as Harry Wilson and Tarik Muharemović.

14. Everton

Everton seem destined to finish in the bottom half of the Premier League table forever. It is unlikely that they’ll go down, but they simply lack the resources to compete with the division’s biggest hitters.

13. Fulham

For us, this one is a little generous. Fulham lost their best player, Harry Wilson, on a free transfer at the end of last season. On top of this, Alvaro Arbeloa is largely untested as a head coach. Marco Silva carved out a solid legacy at Craven Cottage – can he follow it up?

12. Brentford

Brentford haven’t gotten much stronger since the end of last season, but they haven’t really weakened, either. They should consolidate their spot in the Premier League without moving mountains in the process.

11. Bournemouth

Bournemouth are in a moment of febrile uncertainty right now. Coming off the back of the greatest season in their entire history, they have lost the man who led them there – Andoni Iraola – after he left to join Liverpool. Nevertheless, signings such as Antonio Silva indicate that the Cherries should have more than enough to remain competitive. If anything, we think they’ll finish higher.
